NG-CDF Board Intensifies Monitoring of BPDP-Funded Projects in Kipkelion East

The NG-CDF Board, through the Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), remains committed to promoting excellence in project implementation across the country. BPDP provides guidance to stakeholders on adopting practices that enhance accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement in project delivery.

Today, NG-CDF Board Directors Josephine Kanyi, the Alternate Director representing the Principal Secretary, National Treasury, and Hon. Gabriel Kago an independent Director of the Board conducted an inspection of NG-CDF financed projects at Chepseon Girls Secondary School in Kipkelion East Constituency.
At Chepseon Girls Secondary School, the construction and equipping of a 96-student capacity dormitory complete with a septic tank is currently ongoing. The project, financed in the 2019/2020 Financial Year under the Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), seeks to create a conducive learning environment, improve sanitation standards, enhance learners’ well-being through adequate boarding facilities, and support overall school infrastructure development, ultimately boosting student enrollment.

New NG-CDF Constituency Office Completed Set to Boost Service Delivery.

 

The National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) continues to serve as a cornerstone in advancing sustainable progress and national development by transforming livelihoods and fostering socio-economic growth at the grassroots level. Through the empowerment of community driven initiatives, the Fund has expanded access to vital services and promoted inclusive advancement. Its transformative influence is evident in the enhancement of educational infrastructure, advancement of digital skills, establishment of essential facilities, and creation of opportunities that uplift communities and ensure lasting prosperity.

As part of its ongoing monitoring and evaluation exercise, the Chairperson, National Assembly Select Committee on NG-CDF, Hon. Musa Sirma, accompanied by NG-CDF Board Director, Hon. Gabriel Kago, and secretariat staff, visited the completed construction of a 15-roomed NG-CDF office in Kipkelion East Constituency.

The project, aims at providing conducive working environment and enhance effective service delivery to the constituents.

Also in attendance were the area Member of Parliament, Hon. Joseph Cherorot, members of the public, and members of the NG-CDF Committee.
